Recently Once Upon A Time co-creators Adam Horowitz and Edward Kitsis confirmed that the Mulan/Aurora/Philip saga will return in the final two episodes of the second season (via ET Online).
But how will the Enchanted Forest trio (one of whom was last seen
soulless) make their reappearance? Here are our three best guesses:
A Visit to Storybrooke
Last time we saw Mulan and Aurora, they were on a quest to rescue Philip’s soul from the wraith’s clutches. Who told them this was possible? Cora. Last seen in? Storybrooke. If Mulan and Aurora are at a dead end with their search, they may visit Storybrooke to get more information from Cora (bad news, girls) or other magical authorities like Rumplestiltskin, Regina, or the Blue Fairy. We hope this one happens, considering Belle and Mulan once teamed up to rescue Philip (he needs a lot of rescuing, huh?) from life/death as a Yaoguai. Maybe they can help jog Belle/Lacey’s memory? Rumple obviously needs the help.
Or maybe Storybrooke will need their help? Mulan and Aurora formed a quasi-alliance with Emma and Mary Margaret earlier this season when they were all trouncing through the Enchanted Forest together. With Storybrooke in peril, have Emma and Mary Margaret decided to ask the princesses for help? On a related note, could The Dragon, who Tamara took down with her "taser," be Mulan’s Mushu? That might encourage Mulan’s support in the fight against Tamara, Greg, and “The Home Office.”
Neverland Run-InA Visit to Storybrooke

Another option is that Mulan, Aurora, and Philip somehow ended up in Neverland, a destination that seems imminent in the OUAT Season 2 finale. We’re not exactly sure how the connections between these magical lands work, but Bae went from the Enchanted Forest to Victorian England to Neverland, so it must be possible. Have Aurora and Mulan somehow ended up in Neverland, too, on their quest for Philip’s soul or a new, safer home?
Enchanted Forest Detour
A third alternative is that some of our Storybrookers head to the Enchanted Forest. This option seems the most likely, since we know this is where Aurora and Mulan are hanging out. Though spoilers seem to suggest that Emma, Neal, and the Charmings will be going to Neverland, that doesn’t mean the other Storybrookers are headed there, too. There are quite a few fairy tale residents who want to head back to their home in the Enchanted Forest. If they do, they could easily run into Mulan, Aurora, and a soul-restored Philip. (Plus, let's not forget the photos of Neal with the trio. Maybe he heads to Fairytale Land for some reason?)
