A while ago I posted pictures of Snow's mother. And somewhere It said something about Snow's mother being involved with someone who was in the show already... well my theory is
What if it is Sydney as the Genie and her mother made 3 wishes. To fall in love with the king. To be queen. And to have a daughter. And if you remember when the Genie met Snow's father he said he has always seen the wishes turn out badly. Ok so she gets married to the king becomes queen, has Snow (where somewhere I read that she wasn't always so sweet and kind) and then she is a little snot, then in the end she ends up dieing because of magic.
Maybe that's a totally stupid theory but that is what this blog space is for :-)
